If you are an entrepreneur building an early-stage information technology, bioscience, or advanced manufacturing startup in Iowa, you are eligible to win the $100,000 prize.

A few important points:

• We define “Information Technology” as any software or technology-oriented company. That includes startups in fin-tech, insure-tech, fem-tech, ag-tech – you name it.
• We define “early-stage” as a company generating under $2 million in revenue and one that has not raised more than $2 million in outside capital (not counting grants).
• We define “based in Iowa” as a startup that is either headquartered in Iowa or has significant operations in the state of Iowa. That can mean key personnel, manufacturing partnerships, IP that came from one of our universities, or other assets located in the state.
